New Ford Kuga Vignale in Bracknell, Farnborough, Guildford and Wokingham

The Kuga has already been named by Ford as its smartest SUV yet, and this Vignale variant has even higher levels of sophistication. Geared for adventures, you can cruise along any road in serious style.

Exterior

A muscular shape meets long fluid lines in the Ford Kuga Vignale which gives it a beautifully elegant look for an SUV. Its sloping windscreen gives it a sleek front profile and makes it aerodynamic for a fast drive. The angular headlights and tailgate lights are LED giving it a sharp look, and thanks to the LED daytime running lights, you will always get noticed.

At the rear sits an aluminium skidplate that’s home to two exhaust tailpipes and adds protection for off-road driving. For added convenience, you can open the tail when you’re your hands are full by swiping your foot under a sensor.

As the Vignale version, it has a matt black front grille with a striking honeycomb design and 19-inch alloy wheels. It also comes in an exclusive choice of high-class colours, including the ‘Milano Grigio’ – an interesting mix of gold, silver and bronze.

Interior

Designed to keep you comfortable on every drive, no matter how long or tough, the Kuga Vignale has a deluxe interior. All the seats are clothed in a quilted leather that’s exclusive to Vignale models and the front seats are heated to quickly warm you and a passenger in the winter. Ambient lighting creates a warm glow that makes every drive feel relaxing. Active Noise Cancellation prevents the sound of traffic disturbing your drive.

Technology

Pride of place in the centre of the dashboard sits an eight-inch touchscreen that displays your mobile apps, infotainment, navigation and parking sensors. Fitted with Ford’s latest voice recognition technology, SYNC 3, you can use the system by simply speaking to it rather than taking your hands from the wheel. If you would rather use your hands, it has a convenient layout just like a smartphone that’s easy to use.

Active Park Assist will physically park your car for you when you reach your destination, even in tricky parallel spots, to help keep the unique paintwork in first-rate condition. Once you are in the space, just press a button and it will hold the car securely in place.

Performance and efficiency

It comes with a choice of four different powertrains. Two 1.5-litre petrol EcoBoost variants are available, one with 148bhp and one boasting 179bhp. The petrol versions are available as automatic and all-wheel drive so you can opt for the version that best suits your driving style. There are also two 2.0-litre diesel engines, one packing 148bhp and the other delivering 177bhp. The most powerful of the two comes in a choice of manual, automatic and all-wheel drive.

Thanks to the flowing lines across the bonnet and curved edges of the body, the Kuga Vignale’s aerodynamic performance has been improved by three percent.
