A sporty take on a long-time favourite, the Ford Fiesta ST is a confident, energetic hatchback with wide appeal. It's built for performance – and has been tested at the legendary Nürburgring – while continuing to offer the quirky compact style and practicality that drivers love.

The Fiesta's recognisable shape and compact curves are enhanced with sports styling to create the ST. LED daytime running lights accent the front face of the hot hatchback, and a special ST spoiler is fitted at the back.
Now available in the UK as a 5 door version the New Fiesta ST2 or ST3 still enables you to have a small hot hatch with the ease of being able to fit the whole family in.
On the inside, drivers can settle into an optionally heated sports front seat and maintain a comfortable, assured grip on the leather-covered steering wheel. Optional Electronic Automatic Climate Control makes it even easier. The multifunctional centre console is both arranged and populated for maximum convenience, with Ford MyKey driver settings, intuitive button layouts and a smart finish.
As standard, with the ST you'll benefit from a built-in sat nav system on a 4.2-inch colour screen and Ford SYNC hands-free technology. Bluetooth and music device compatibility bring more of your smartphone's functions directly into the cabin.
Every journey's also reassuringly secure as well as fun. The original Fiesta's five-star Euro NCAP safety rating isn't diminished in any way with the ST. This model has even received extra awards for forward-thinking features, which include front, side, curtain and thorax airbags, ESC, ABS and the Intelligent Protection System package.
Ford amps up the power for this athletic version of the Fiesta by fitting it with a 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. It claims 180bhp, sending that power seamlessly through a six-speed gearbox.
The ST has a 0-62mph time of 6.9 seconds, boosted by an impressive 290Nm of torque. Sports suspension is an added benefit for handling and cornering. The increased performance has no adverse bearing on the fuel economy, as up to 47.9mpg combined is achievable.
